“I believe this is going to be a temporary thing , pretty soon it should be going back to normal”. As we all know Covid has impacted all of us in one way or another. 23-year-old Angel Cortez is a Kitchen member at a detention facility therefore his work is essential. Without him and his team the inmates would not be able to eat. 

In this interview he goes over certain precautions and changes they have had to go through due to the sickness: such as wearing masks, being socially distant , disinfecting more often , using plastic trays etc. He then proceeds to say that Covid has affected his work in a positive and negative way. In his personal opinion he believes that Covid will not affect his personal and working life in the long run because it will be over soon. He states ¨over the next year or so the cases will start dropping and people will get vaccines and everything should go back to normal."
