“Pretty much every single thing we do has been subject to change in one way or another”

 

Will Cherashore is the General Manager at the Bahia Resort Hotel. Before becoming the general Manager, he was the Vice-president of Ad Positions and Development for Evans Hotel which is the parent company of Bahia Resort Hotel. He started working as the General Manager in 2019. He has always been passionate about Hospitality. His family had a big influence on him: “That was the number one topic at the dinner table.”

Because of Covid-19 people do not travel as much as they used to, so less people go to hotels, resorts, and restaurants. The hotel also had to cut the amount of people allowed to come there due to public health orders and executive orders. They have been subject to these orders as a hotel, restaurant and as a Bangwoud Facilities. Another thing that was affected by Covid, is that they had to cut the amount of employees and they had to ask the employees to do more work than they used to. 

One way Will thinks his work will continue to be impacted even after Covid is that there is probably going to be less in-person work meetings and more computer-based meetings. since people don't want to get the virus and we are probably going to be using more computer-based meetings.
